PUPPY INFO: ALL BIG COATED BREEDS GO THROUGH A STAGE I CALL THE "GANGLIES". THE PUPPY GROWS, AND THE PUPPY COAT DOES NOT.
BETWEEN THE AGE OF 4 TO 7 MONTHS, YOU WILL DISPARE OF YOUR PUPPY EVER HAVING A NICE FLUFFY COAT, BUT AT ABOUT 7 MONTHS OF
AGE, THE ADULT COAT STARTS GROWING, AND BEFORE YOU KNOW IT, THERE IS HIS/HER BEAUTIFUL FLUFFY COAT. IT GENERALLY TAKES AN
ADULT 2 YEARS TO GET THEIR FULL COAT. FEMALES BLOW THERE COATS AFTER A HEAT CYCLE OR AFTER THEY HAVE BABIES. THE ONLY WAY
TO FORGO THIS NATURAL PROCESS IS TO HAVE HER SPAYED.
All of Kat's Personality Poms are current on Vaccines and are on a good Worming Program. I require puppies to have, at least,
2 vaccines before going to their forever homes. I also Microchip my babies as well. i like for them to have the best start
possible for them, as well as their new parents.
Females are usually more in demand than Males, so the adoption fees sometimes reflect this. Beleive it or not, Males generally
make better pets than do Females. I have discussed this with several Breeders, and they agree. I beleive it is because the
female of most species, has to be the more responsible of the two. She does most of the hunting, rearing the young, etc. For
this reason, the Male has more time for play. The Female seems to Mature faster, where a Male stays more Puppyish. You wouldn't
notice this unless you have a male and a female. The male allows the female to be dominant. Both love their Family the same.
